Welcome to Majestic Vacate Cleaning Perth (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our cleaning services, including Vacate Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, and Builders Cleaning (“Services”). By engaging our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

  • Services: All cleaning services provided by Majestic Vacate Cleaning Perth, including Vacate Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Builders Cleaning, end of lease cleaning, bond cleaning, exit cleaning, pre-sale cleaning, post-construction cleaning, debris removal, dusting, window cleaning, floor cleaning, and any additional services listed in the service agreement.
  • Client: The individual or entity booking and paying for the Services.
  • Property: The location where the Services are to be performed.
  • Touch-Up Service: A follow-up cleaning service requested by the Client to address any dissatisfaction with the initial cleaning.

2. General Terms

2.1 Acceptance of Terms

By booking and utilizing our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2.2 Service Agreement

A separate service agreement or quote may outline specific details related to the Services. These Terms supplement and form part of that agreement.

2.3 Access to Property

The Client must provide clear and safe access to the Property at the scheduled Service time. If the Client is not present, they must provide keys or access codes as agreed. Failure to provide access may result in Service cancellation without refund.

2.4 Responsibility for Personal Items

Clients are responsible for removing personal items, valuables, and fragile objects from the areas to be cleaned. We are not liable for any damage to or loss of personal belongings.


3. Vacate Cleaning Services

3.1 Scope of Services

Our Vacate Cleaning package includes end of lease cleaning, bond cleaning, exit cleaning, pre-sale cleaning, and all moving out related work and empty house cleaning services. This encompasses:

  • Cleaning of one kitchen, one laundry, one oven, and other areas as detailed in the quoted and invoiced labor items.
  • Comprehensive cleaning tasks as outlined in the cleaning checklist provided upon booking.

3.2 Exclusions

The Services do not include:

  • Cleaning of non-vacate related areas unless specified.
  • Dismantling items such as oven doors, light fittings, silicone strips in bathrooms, security doors, fly screens, etc.
  • Discoloration repairs for ceilings or walls.
  • Any activities outside the agreed cleaning tasks, including plumbing, painting, or electrical work.

3.3 Service Customization

Clients may request specific cleaning tasks related to Vacate Cleaning. These requests must be communicated at the time of booking to ensure availability and pricing adjustments.


4. Carpet Cleaning Services

4.1 Scope of Services

Our Carpet Cleaning package includes:

  • Vacuuming and pre-treatment of stains.
  • Hot water extraction and deodorizing.
  • Optional services such as stain-specific treatments, pet odor removal, and carpet protection upon request.

4.2 Exclusions

The Services do not include:

  • Cleaning of non-carpeted areas unless specified.
  • Treatment of stains caused by hazardous or acidic substances.
  • Cleaning of heavily soiled carpets beyond standard stain removal.
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances. Clients must relocate items prior to the Service.

4.3 Service Customization

Clients may request specific carpet cleaning treatments. These requests must be communicated at the time of booking to ensure availability and pricing adjustments.


5. Builders Cleaning Services

5.1 Scope of Services

Our Builders Cleaning package includes:

  • Removal of construction debris and waste.
  • Thorough dusting of all surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
  • Cleaning of windows, including frames and sills.
  • Vacuuming and mopping of all floor surfaces.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Final inspection to ensure all areas meet our quality standards.

Additional services such as deep carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, and specialized stain removal can be provided upon request and may incur additional charges.

5.2 Exclusions

The Services do not include:

  • Cleaning of non-construction related areas unless specified.
  • Removal of hazardous materials or substances.
  • Repair or maintenance work (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances. Clients must relocate items prior to the Service.

5.3 Service Customization

Clients may request specific builders cleaning tasks. These requests must be communicated at the time of booking to ensure availability and pricing adjustments.


6. Booking and Payment Terms

6.1 Booking Confirmation

To confirm a booking, a deposit of $44 is required. The remaining balance is due two days prior to the scheduled cleaning date.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash. Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

6.3 Full Payment Requirement

Majestic Vacate Cleaning Perth requires 100% of the total cost to be paid upfront. Failure to complete payment as outlined may result in cancellation of the Service.

6.4 Late Payments

Invoices not settled within [Insert Number] days may incur a late fee of [Insert Amount or Percentage]. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of Services.


7. Quotes

7.1 Estimate Basis

All quotes provided are estimates based on the information provided by the Client and are subject to change following an on-site assessment. Final pricing will be confirmed before the commencement of Services.

7.2 Quote Validity

Quotes given via phone or email are subject to an on-site property inspection before the commencement of work. If excessively soiled, heavily soiled, or poorly maintained areas are identified, additional charges may apply, or the Service may be canceled with a full refund to the Client.

7.3 Quote Variations

Upon discovering the need for a quote variation during the on-site inspection, the Client will be notified prior to starting the work. Acceptance of the additional costs is required to proceed. If the Client does not agree to the variation, they may cancel the Service, and a refund will be processed within three business days. Declining the variation while wishing to proceed may void the service warranty for certain or all items.


8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

8.1 Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel a booking without penalty more than 24 hours before the scheduled Service. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the Service will incur a cancellation fee of $44.00.

8.2 Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule their Service by providing at least 24 hours’ notice. We will accommodate rescheduling based on availability.

8.3 Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if the Property is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or misrepresented in terms of condition or size. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the Client.


9. Client Obligations

9.1 Preparation of Property

Clients must ensure that the Property is prepared for the specific Service booked:

  • Vacate Cleaning: Ensure all personal items are removed and areas to be cleaned are accessible.
  • Carpet Cleaning: Ensure carpets are accessible and free from excessive debris or obstructions.
  • Builders Cleaning: Ensure all construction debris, tools, and materials are removed from the Property.

9.2 Furniture Placement

Clients are responsible for moving light furniture (weighing up to 5kg). For heavier items, clients must relocate them prior to the Service. Majestic Vacate Cleaning Perth is not liable for any damage caused by heavy items left in place.

9.3 Pet Considerations

Clients must inform us of any pets present during the cleaning. Pets should be secured or removed from the Property to ensure their safety and the effectiveness of the cleaning process.

9.4 Parking and Access

Clients must provide thorough access to the Property, including convenient parking. Any parking-related expenses will be added to the service cost.


10. Service Warranty

10.1 Warranty Coverage

We stand by the quality of our Services. If the Client is dissatisfied with the Service provided, they must notify us within 3 days with a detailed description of the issue and accompanying photographic evidence.

10.2 Warranty Conditions

  • The Property must remain undisturbed after the Service.
  • No additional cleaning or maintenance work is performed by the Client or third parties post-Service.
  • The cleaned areas must be accessible and in the condition as per the Service agreement.
  • No building or maintenance work has been carried out at the Property during or after the cleaning has been completed.

10.3 Warranty Process

Upon notification, we will schedule a touch-up Service at no additional cost within 14 days. The Client must be present during the touch-up to inspect and approve the work.

10.4 Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Cleaning issues caused by ongoing construction or maintenance work.
  • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
  • Issues arising from improper maintenance by the Client.
  • Cleaning of areas not included in the original Service agreement.
  • Stains caused by hazardous or acidic substances.
  • Cleaning of grout, ceilings, or unreachable areas unless previously arranged.

10.5 Touch-Up Fees

  • Within 14 Days: Free of charge.
  • After 14 Days but Within 21 Days: Minimum charge of $80.00 plus Travel time: $56 per hour
  • After  21 Days: Minimum charge of $168.

10.6 Completion of Warranty

After a touch-up, if no further issues are reported within 24 hours, the job is considered complete. Only two touch-up sessions are allowed per Service.


11. Liability and Insurance

11.1 Damage to Property

We take utmost care while performing our Services. However, in the unlikely event of accidental damage to the Property, we will assess the situation and compensate the Client accordingly. Claims must be reported within 48 hours of the Service.

11.2 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.

11.3 Insurance

Majestic Vacate Cleaning Perth maintains appropriate insurance coverage to protect against accidental damage during the provision of Services. Proof of insurance is available upon request.


12. Health and Safety

12.1 Chemicals and Cleaning Agents

We use cleaning agents that are safe for both the Property and its occupants. Clients with specific allergies or sensitivities must inform us prior to the Service.

12.2 Safety Precautions

Our team follows strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of both our staff and Clients. This includes proper handling of equipment and chemicals, as well as adherence to safety standards on construction sites.


13. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during the booking and Service process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our Services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. 14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services provided will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be escalated to mediation or arbitration as agreed upon by both parties.


15. Amendments to Terms

Majestic Vacate Cleaning Perth reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or notifying the Client via email. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
