General Interior Cleaning
Thoroughly vacuum sliding door tracks, removing all dust and grime from tracks and edges.
Sweep, mop, and remove any scuff marks on all non-carpeted floors. Check corners and hidden spots for dust build-up.
Carpets: Cleaned professionally by a certified Carpet Cleaner to meet Australian Standards. Keep an invoice as proof.
Pest Treatment: Required if pets were kept at the property. Use a licensed pest control service and retain an invoice detailing services rendered.
Light Fixtures: Carefully remove light covers, wipe off dust, and clean any dead bugs or dirt.
Walls & Light Switches: Gently remove any visible marks or fingerprints from walls, skirting boards, and switches.
Dust all skirting boards, window frames, sills, architraves, and door edges on both sides.
Curtains & Blinds: Clean according to material. Check with your property manager for specific cleaning guidelines.
Remove all cobwebs, insect marks, and nests, especially in corners and high ceilings.
Kitchen
Cabinets & Drawers: Clean both inside and outside of all cupboards and drawers, removing any stains or residue.
Stovetop: Thoroughly clean around burners and control knobs, removing any grease or splatters.
Oven & Griller: Clean oven racks, glass, doors, and interior. Ensure no grease or burnt residue is left.
Refrigerator & Dishwasher Spaces: Clean behind and around spaces, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
Sink & Tapware: Remove any stains and clean drain holes, drainers, and tapware to a shine.
Range Hood: Clean the exhaust filter and replace it if necessary. Remove grease and dirt from the exterior.
Bathroom
Surfaces: Clean walls, floors, mirrors, and all glass surfaces, including window tracks.
Cupboards & Drawers: Clean both inside and out, removing dust and any items left behind.
Fixtures: Scrub toilet, shower, bath, and sink. Remove soap scum and any stains from tiles and shower screens.
Wardrobe & Closet Spaces: Clean shelves, drawers, and mirrored doors. Ensure all scuff marks are removed.
Shower Curtain: Wash with bleach or replace if it shows any signs of mold or mildew.
Laundry
Washing Machine Area: Clean behind the washing machine and remove any lint or debris.
Dryer: Clean the lint filter and remove any accumulated dust or lint around the machine.
Laundry Tub: Clean inside, outside, and around the tub, ensuring drains and tapware are spotless.
Walls & Floor: Ensure the walls, ceiling, and floors are completely clean and free from dust or stains.
Outdoor Areas
Verandah/Decks: Sweep and mop the area, clean railings, glass panels, and light fixtures.
Remove cobwebs and insect nests from all exterior walls, ceilings, and corners.
Garage, Carport & Driveway
Garage: Sweep out all debris and remove oil or other residue from floors.
Bins: Empty and clean Council bins, and place them on the footpath for collection if required.
Garage Door: Ensure it’s clean and in working order. Lock before leaving.
Gardens, Lawns, and Pool
Lawn: Mow, trim edges, and ensure any weeds are removed.
Garden Beds: Weed and tidy up. Remove any personal plants or decorations.
Pool: Return to the condition noted in the condition report. Obtain a pool test report on your move-out date if required by your agent.
If Furnished
Inventory Check: Ensure all items are clean, undamaged, and in their original locations as per the inventory list.
